We’ve finished our [third community recognition rewards](https://discuss.daml.com/t/daml-community-recognition-ceremony-2/1764) and I’m happy to announce that both @matt and @entzik have won. @matt - For his open source contributions to daml in the form of [rejig](https://discuss.daml.com/t/rejig-a-daml-import-formatter/1615), PRs, and contributions to the forum. @matt is one of the first community members to [answer a DA employee’s question](https://discuss.daml.com/t/designating-any-party-in-a-list-of-parties-as-controller/1284) all of which are great contributions that long term will be important on growing Daml’s open source community. @entzik - For his venturing into using daml for [Doodle in Daml](https://github.com/entzik/daml-examples/blob/bff79195d6f685d2bc0299917db6eb294cf58c63/doodle/daml/Com/Thekirschners/Daml/Doodle.daml) a whole website backend in a tiny amount of code, the related blog posts [[Part 1](https://entzik.medium.com/a-doodle-in-daml-part-1-d2ef18bbf7e8)] [[Part 2](https://entzik.medium.com/a-doodle-in-daml-part-2-910614d94c62)], and always giving honest feedback about Daml so we can understand what users want and make Daml better. We also had several runner-ups who definitely deserve recognition for their contributions, namely: @Zoraiz_Mahmood for his amazing 4-part [series comparing CordApps to Daml](https://www.block8.com/blog/block8-rates-r3s-corda-vs-digital-assets-daml-part-one-overview-of-state-and-transactions) that goes into a depth that’s hard to summarize here so just go check it out. These articles certainly brought Daml to a wide audience of developers. @kctam for his blog posts [exploring fundamental concepts in Daml](https://kctheservant.medium.com/first-attempt-in-daml-understand-template-contract-and-transaction-d8f3a79fe0c0) and [the propose-accept pattern](https://kctheservant.medium.com/more-about-contracts-in-daml-exploring-proposal-acceptance-workflow-in-daml-95c938618bd8). Both of these articles presented Daml concepts to new developers in a way that is easy to digest.
