Can I kill Sandbox from the Canton console?

In case I have closed the terminal on which I have started it, as an alternative to lsof -i TCP:6865 then kill -9 <process id>.

I don’t think there’s a way to shut down a node from the Canton Console. But you can use -t on lsof to turn that into a one-liner: kill -9 $(lsof -ti TCP:6865).
