Faucet transfers - DevNet

Hi,

I’m about to test our setup against another DevNet node, so far I managed to use the faucet here: https://cbtc-faucet.bitsafe.finance/ to transfer to our validator party. It looks like it is working the transfer alone.

To make use of this faucet, I had to install additional DAR packages from the official utilities DAR Package Versions — Digital Asset’s platform documentation

However, when I want to approve the contract that I can see appear, there is a choice that is not available to me: “HolderService_AcceptTransferOffer”.

I’m not sure where I find this DAR, and I’m not sure if there are other faucets out there I could use instead.

Hey @Bacarden

If you have a DevNet validator running, just use the wallet UI tap button directly and no external faucet needed. The faucet site you found is community-run and not officially maintained.

The HolderService_AcceptTransferOffer choice is part of the cBTC utility package from that faucet, it’s a custom DAR from Bitsafe, not a Splice package, which is why it’s not in the list.

For DevNet CC, the standard path is just tapping from your own wallet UI.

If you specifically need cBTC from that faucet, you’d need to get the HolderService DAR from Bitsafe directly it’s not publicly distributed via DA. Reach out to them via the forum or their site.

Apologies on not getting back earlier, this question seems to be slipped through in the bunch in app dev. Although I believe we do have a thread going btw each other hereas well, feel free to tag me in your Ques.
